    Released by iRobot in 2007, the Scooba 385 is a floor washing robot that utilizes a unique four-stage cleaning process. First, it prepares the floor area by picking up dirt, dust, and crumbs. Then, it washes the floor with the use of cleaning solution preventing the spread of dirty water while cleaning. Next, its powerful brushes scrub the floor to remove dirt and grime and other messes that may have become stuck on the floor. Finally, its squeegee dries the floor by lifting the water, leaving the surface clean and dry.

    The Scooba 385 boasts of an easy-to-prepare solution composed of tap water and vinegar. This assures users that the automated floor washer cleans the surfaces without harming the finishes applied on the floor. This floor washer is ideal for cleaning homes with large hard floor areas. One full tank of the cleaning solution is enough to clean floor areas of up to 40 meters.
