Completed in 2011, KITECH is proud of SeRoPi 2, a humanoid robot that boasts of its ability to interact with children and stage actors. This is proof of its full capacity for human interaction.

SeRoPI 2 is the improved version of SeRoPi (Service Robot Platform Initiative), which was launched in 2007. Armed with stereo vision, force sensors, and laser range finder, the navigation system of SeRoPi 2 is far more improved than its predecessor. The improved materials and designs make it a better incarnate of the first version.

SeRoPi 2, the Johnny 5 look-a-like robot, is able to perform a handful of household tasks due to its ability to grab things. Remote exploration and healthcare tasks are foreseeable possibilities.
