SPC-001

Japan's Speecys Corporation displayed its first humanoid research robot for the first time in 2004. Called the SPC-001, the robot uses RS601CR servomotors and a RPU-100 robot processor. It's operated by twenty-one actuators and eight rechargeable batteries. The company said that this robot was made for educational research use. The robot comes in metal finish.
