Meccano created a Wi-Fi spy robot called Spykee. This spy robot can see, hear, speak and move. With an internet connection, this robot can be controlled remotely from around the globe.
When connected to a Wi-Fi, one can operate or control it. It is equipped with a video camera, allowing its owner to view what it sees. It can also detect any movement and set off an alarm when it senses something is wrong. It is also capable of sending images of what it sees.
Besides being a good security robot or spy robot, one can utilize this as a means to connect with friends and family, using its webcam and Voice over Internet Protocol or VoIP. As an entertainment robot, it can play mp3 music. It can also do several sounds and light effects, and is run by a chargeable Ni-Mh 9V battery.
