  • South Korean’s Advance Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) developed a bipedal dinosaur robot called T-REX that can roar and walk on its two feet. This robot measures 3.5 m long and weighs 80 Kg.

AIST reproduced this ancient animal and made it appear as if it were alive. It has a scale of 1:3.5, and one can experience how these animals roamed the earth millions of years ago just by looking at this robot.

To make it move as if it were alive, this robot has 27 joint axes all over its body which allow it to achieve that realistic motion. A soft skin covers the entire body of the T-REX making it look like a real dinosaur.

    T-REX Features:

    • Four sensors
    • Camera
    • Exoskeleton structure
    • Soft skin like covering
