  • The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA sponsored a conceptual visions corporation robot called TERRI. It is NOAA’s aim, through this robot, to promote and encourage scientific education.

    Short for The Educational Resource Robot Initiative, TERRI is a fully integrated interactive humanoid robot that can be set into a fully automatic mode in order to interrelate with people without any external intrusion or telemetry.

    This humanoid robot is equipped with full artificial intelligence and has a large database located remotely. Since this robot travels frequently, it sends data to its database and then responds remotely.
