Japan’s Tmsuk Company created the world’s first remotely controlled robot using a cellular phone. In 1998, the Japanese robotic company unveiled the TMSUK-3. This humanoid robot is the world’s first cellular controlled humanoid robot. The development of this robot paves the way for using your cell phone innovatively.
The Tmsuk-3 can be controlled while watching over it at a computer monitor, using a joystick or even with a keyboard. The images are transmitted from a CCD camera that has been mounted on its head. With the microphone and speaker installed on the TMSUK-3, one can converse with this humanoid robot.
