Wabot Series : Wabot II

  • Japanese Institution Waseda University created a humanoid robot intelligent enough to play a keyboard. This humanoid keyboard player was considered the most advanced humanoid back in the 80s.

    Besides playing the keyboard, the WABOT 2 can read musical notes thanks to the installed cameras that serve as its eyes.

    Additionally, it can play quite difficult tunes using its expert hands. It can also converse with people in Japanese, and can even listen and accompany singers, adjusting its tempo ad-hoc.
