  • Kazuhisa Terasaki once created the Weird 7, which is a wooden robot that has cheap servos and a controller board. This wooden robot can lay flat and then bounce back to life. This wooden humanoid robot opened the door for the better version robot called the Weird 72.

Just like its predecessor, the Weird 72 model can also lay flat, almost lifeless, and then arise and come to life. Unlike the earlier version, this wooden robot is bigger, better, more humanoid and can use rope to skip like a boxer.

This wooden humanoid robot stands at 234mm and weighs roughly 500 grams. Except its servomotors, its entire framework is composed of wooden materials.

    Weird 72 Features:

    • Wooden Framework
    • Cheap servomotors
    • Biped
    • Can jump over ropes
