  • China’s Dagu Hi-Tech Electronic Co., Ltd. has created a two-legged robot, which they named after a hairy giant living in the Himalayan Mountains, the Yeti.

Just like the monstrous snowman, the YETI 3000 walks using his two big feet. Its developer installed a microprocessor, which acts as its brain, and a computer program, which manipulates a number of servomotors in order for the YETI 3000 to move its legs and feet.

Just like a human being, this humanoid robot can walk by moving one foot followed by the other, prompting its developer to install it with two servomotors. Unlike its name would suggest, this robot is not covered with hairs like the monstrous snowman.

    Yeti 3000 Features:

    • Biped robot
    • Microprocessors as brain
    • Computer program to control its movement
    • Servomotors
