M3 Synchy stands for synchronized communication. This humanoid robot was developed to help scientists understand verbal and non-verbal communication. It has 17 degrees of freedom and is equipped with a CCD camera and 15 LEDs. M3 Synchy also has software that enables speech recognition and speech synthesis.
